I've seen 2 lactation consultants already, how will this help? This bundle is unlike any resource because it teaches you to work WITH your baby's design instead of regurgitating the same one-size-fits-no-one advice that hospitals & corporate programs usually offer.
-
My baby had a tongue tie release already, will this help us?Maybe - this guide is a great FIRST STEP toward fixing your baby's latch. It goes back to the basics (the ones no one taught you), and it helps a lot of new moms figure out the NEXT STEP confidently. But if you've already "taken all the classes" and downloaded "all the guides" -- I'll be honest, this guide probably won't be earth shattering -- what you'll need if you have had an unsuccessful tongue tie release is a very customized plan. Listen to Episode 34 of the Breastfeeding with Confidence Podcast where my former client Chelsea discusses her tongue tie release journey and then consider booking a 3 or 6 week Breastfeeding Support Package so I can help you create a specific plan tailored to you and your baby's needs.
-
I'm pregnant, will this guide be helpful in preparing?Yes! This guide will be very helpful for preparing for your baby, and it will com in handy during the first two weeks!

What should I do to prepare for my virtual consult?Once you book, you’ll receive a detailed guide on how to prepare—including how to submit videos, what lighting and camera angles work best, and how to have everything set up (like baby, pillows, or pump) before we start. Preparing ahead helps us make the most of your session time.
-
Why do you offer visit bundles? Most moms don’t plan to need multiple visits. But once baby is here things can change fast. What felt manageable in week one can become overwhelming by week three— ➡️ Latch issues that pop up out of nowhere ➡️ Milk supply dips you didn’t expect ➡️ Confusing advice from doctors or nurses ➡️ Or you just don’t feel confident, even if baby is gaining That’s why bundles make sense. You get ongoing support for the reality of postpartum life—not just the ideal. A follow-up 7–10 days after your first consult can make a world of difference. We can reassess latch, monitor supply, adjust your care plan, or prep for things like pumping or returning to work. Even if your first visit goes great, having continued care lined up means you won’t be stuck waiting for help when something shifts. Prenatal bundles ensure you’re covered from the beginning—no delays, no added stress. And yes, they save you money and include private messenger support between visits and for two weeks after your final consult. If you end up needing more visits than your bundle includes? You can always add on. Starting with a bundle sets you up for success from day one.

Can you REALLY help me virtually?Absolutely, I can help you virtually—and many moms are surprised just how effective it can be! During your virtual lactation consult, you're not just getting generic advice. You're getting one-on-one, personalized care, tailored to your specific situation—just like you would in person. Here’s what to expect: 🔍 Before the consult: You’ll fill out a secure intake form and have the chance to upload short videos or photos of your baby feeding, latching, or sucking on your finger. This allows me to assess things like latch, suck function, positioning, and oral movement—so we don’t waste any time during our visit. 💻 During the session: We’ll connect via a private, HIPAA-compliant video call. I’ll walk you through a holistic review of both your health and your baby’s. We’ll look at feeding together in real time (if baby’s ready), go over any red flags, and build a custom plan that aligns with your goals. 🤱 After the consult: Some families benefit from follow-up sessions, while others feel confident continuing with the support I provide through follow-up messaging. You’ll have access to email or chat support to answer questions that pop up afterward. So yes—virtual consults work. With the right prep and expert eyes guiding you, it can be just as impactful (and sometimes more convenient) than an in-person visit.

Do you accept health insurance? We are currently moving away from taking most insurances and transitioning to a self-pay model. While we understand this may feel like a big shift, here's why: Recently, many insurance companies have significantly reduced or restricted reimbursement rates for IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants). These limitations make it difficult to provide the thorough, individualized care and follow-up that families truly need and deserve. In order to continue offering top-quality, evidence-based lactation care—without cutting corners or rushing visits—we’ve chosen to step outside of these restrictions. That said, we want care to remain as accessible as possible: We provide detailed superbills for reimbursement. Many families are still able to get partial or full reimbursement by submitting these to their insurance companies. You can also use FSA or HSA funds to cover the cost of your visit, which many families find helpful. To meet a variety of investment abilities, we offer both à la carte services and bundled care packages that offer greater value for families seeking ongoing support. This structure allows us to serve you better—on your terms—with the time and attention you truly deserve. If you have questions about reimbursement or how to use your benefits, we’re happy to guide you through the process!
-
What kinds of concerns can be addressed in a virtual visit? Most feeding issues can be addressed virtually, including painful latch, slow weight gain, oversupply, low milk supply, pumping concerns, bottle feeding, and more. If I believe your baby needs in-person evaluation (like for bodywork or a tongue tie release), I’ll refer you to a trusted provider in your area.
-
How do I book?To reserve your appointment time, payment is required at the time of booking. This ensures your spot is held and makes things easier for you—no last-minute payment stress, so you can simply focus on getting the care you need. Here’s how the process works: Click the “Get Help” button Choose your appointment type – whether you need prenatal or postpartum care, Submit your booking form and payment through our secure system to officially reserve your session Once submitted, your appointment will be reviewed. If there are any scheduling conflicts, Jaimie will personally reach out to coordinate a time that works best. After your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a Welcome Email with your intake forms and preparation instructions so you’re all set for your visit. We require payment up front to keep things simple and ensure every family has uninterrupted, dedicated support time. If a payment plan is required please contact Jaimie Zaki directly at jaimiezaki@littlebearlactation.com.

I don’t want to waste my money on a class that doesn’t help.I hear you. There are so many generic breastfeeding classes that focus on surface-level tips and leave moms frustrated when things don’t go as planned. That's why this is designed to be a small investment with big impact -- you'll walk away knowing if what you're experiencing is normal and having a plan for simple changes OR you'll get confirmation there are unique complications and you deserve expert guidance. This class is designed to help you decide what your next step should be CONFIDENTLY.
-
What if I just end up needing formula anyway? This class isn’t about making you feel guilty if breastfeeding doesn’t go perfectly—it’s about giving you real solutions so you can make informed choices. If supplementation becomes necessary, we can work together to teach you how to do it in a way that protects your breastfeeding relationship (instead of sabotaging it).
-
I've already talked to my doctor & a lactation consultant, but they said there's nothing wrong...If you're gut says breastfeeding shouldn't be THIS hard, but you're feeling frustrated, confused, and like something NEEDS to change, odds are the providers you worked with just didn't have the right tools and training to give you the support you deserve. This course is not intended to be a magic wand or quick fix, but rather help you understand WHY you're experiencing whatever symptoms you're struggling with. When we understand the WHY we can implement SOLUTIONS, not just bandaid fixes or waiting and watching. And the sad TRUTH is most doctors and many lactation consultants don't know how to get to the ROOT CAUSE of feeding issues. That's why this class is different. We teach you to work WITH your baby.

I don’t want to waste my money on a class that doesn’t help.I hear you. There are so many generic breastfeeding classes that focus on surface-level tips and leave moms frustrated when things don’t go as planned. That’s why this is designed to go so much deeper! You'll learn tips for preparing, and if you have challenges you'll be able to come back and rewatch key sections for FIXING those challenges (or to get confirmation you need expert support). As with anything, there's no promises in life, and breastfeeding success is determined by a variety of factors, but this is the class I WISH I had 10 years ago
